Privacy & Cookies
How Pexody uses information.
This page explains what information may be processed when you use the Pexody website and Automation & AI Readiness Assessment, how analytics cookies are used, and the choices available to you.
1. Who we are
Pexody provides tools, frameworks and services designed to help organisations strengthen the operational foundations required for trusted reporting, automation and artificial intelligence.
If you have a question about privacy or the way information is handled on this website, you can contact:
2. Information collected when you use the website
Pexody does not currently require you to create an account to use the website or complete the Automation & AI Readiness Assessment.
Depending on the choices you make, some technical information about your visit may be processed by services used to operate and understand the website. This may include information such as pages viewed, device or browser information, approximate location information and how visitors move through the site.
3. Google Analytics
Pexody uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the website and assessment. This helps us understand areas such as website traffic, page usage and assessment engagement so that we can improve the experience.
Google Analytics is treated as optional analytics. It only runs after you choose to allow analytics through the cookie consent controls.
If you reject analytics or do not make a choice, normal Google Analytics tracking is not loaded under the current Pexody consent setup.
4. Cookie and analytics preferences
When you choose whether to accept or reject analytics, Pexody stores that preference in your browser using local storage.
The preference is stored under:
pexody_analytics_consent
This is used only to remember whether you selected analytics as accepted or rejected, so that you do not have to make the same choice every time you move between pages.
This preference is stored on your own device and is not currently sent to a Pexody database.
You can change your choice at any time by using Cookie settings in the website footer.
5. Automation & AI Readiness Assessment
The current version of the Automation & AI Readiness Assessment runs within your browser.
Your answers are used during the assessment to calculate your readiness score, maturity level, capability breakdown and recommendations.
In the current MVP version, assessment responses are not submitted to or stored in a Pexody backend database.
Closing or refreshing the assessment may therefore remove the assessment state held during that browser session.
6. Hosting and website infrastructure
The Pexody website is hosted using third-party website infrastructure. These providers may process limited technical information necessary to deliver, secure and operate the website.
Pexody currently uses Netlify to host and deliver the public website.
7. Email and future lead capture
Pexody may introduce optional features that allow visitors to provide an email address, for example to receive a detailed readiness report or other requested resource.
Where an email address is collected, the purpose will be clearly explained at the point of collection.
Requesting a report or resource will not automatically mean that you have agreed to receive unrelated marketing communications. Any marketing preferences will be handled separately where required.
8. Why information is used
Information may be processed for purposes including:
- operating and securing the website;
- delivering requested website functionality;
- understanding website usage where analytics consent has been provided;
- improving the Pexody website, assessment and services; and
- responding to enquiries or requests you choose to submit.
Where Pexody relies on consent for optional analytics, you can withdraw that consent using the Cookie settings control.
9. Sharing information
Pexody does not sell personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers that support the operation of the website, such as hosting and analytics providers, where relevant to the services being used.
10. International processing
Some technology providers used by Pexody may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, appropriate legal safeguards are expected to be used by the relevant provider in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
11. How long information is kept
Pexody aims to retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or where retention is required for legal, security or operational reasons.
The current analytics-consent preference remains in your browser's local storage until it is changed, removed, or your browser storage is cleared.
12. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights relating to your personal information, including rights to access, correct, erase or restrict certain processing, and to object to certain uses of your information.
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent.

13. Complaints
If you have concerns about how your personal information has been handled, please contact Pexody first so that the issue can be reviewed.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
14. Changes to this notice
This privacy and cookie information may be updated as Pexody introduces new website features, analytics tools, email services or other technology.
The latest version will be published on this page.
